UK Outlook for Saturday 21 Oct 2017 to Monday 30 Oct 2017:
Next weekend looks like being very unsettled with wet and very windy weather
likely to affect most parts of the UK. This will bring the risk of gales or severe gales, particularly across the west and southwest, although there remains some uncertainty over the extent of these.
The following week looks set to remain unsettled, with further periods of wet and windy weather, however it is possible that there will be some longer spells of drier and brighter weather in between,
most likely across the southeast. This may lead to more settled conditions towards the end of the month, although there remains some uncertainty. Temperatures will vary around normal, before becoming
slightly warmer for a time next week. There is an increased risk of chilly nights in more settled spells.
UK Outlook for Tuesday 31 Oct 2017 to Tuesday 14 Nov 2017:
As we head into the start in November, a changeable pattern is most likely at
first bringing spells of wet and windy weather, interspersed with some drier and brighter interludes. The most unsettled weather is likely across the north and west, with the south and east often
drier and brighter. These drier conditions may become more prolonged as we head through the first week of November, bringing an increased chance of frost and fog overnight. However, the northwest may
remain more unsettled, leading to a more general northwest/southeast split by mid month, with the wettest and windiest weather in the northwest. Temperatures are likely to stay close to normal,
although it may be colder than normal where settled spells are prolonged.
